Pastor Heriberto (Beto) and Pastora Alma lead Manatial de Vida (Fountain of Life) Church and will be evicted from their current building in November 2021. We have helped with fundraising for their new building that is currently under construction. We will continue to seek new ways along side HEP to help in their fundraising efforts in hopes of completing the building soon. This church will partner with Pastor Alonso of Pan De Vida to minister to the communities South of the canal on Colonia Topahue.

We met Patricia on our recent (June 2021) trip to Cabo. She runs 3 different feeding kitchens in her community. She was hit really hard with Covid and down for over 2 months in serious condition. She promised God that if He helped her get better she would serve her community as a way of thanking Him. She serves over 300 people (mostly children) up to 5 days a week depending on the amount of donations she receives through Heart4Cabo and others. She chose to use the building on the left that was previously donated to use as her kitchen as opposed to living in it (see pictures). This decision was to secure the industrial stove and her refrigerator that were donated. We are excited to provide her a safe, secure and dry home.

When we recently met Esparanza on our June (2021) trip to Cabo, she explained how she has begun hosting church in her front yard to give thanks to the Lord for blessing her. She has also began raising funds to buy a lot with a house on it just one street over from hers to plant her church there. She expressed her desire to be able to host more people and God has been opening doors to allow her to buy the property soon. We decided to donate the rest of the funds she needed to buy the property and home. She will make some changes with the help of her brother Francisco to remove the front wall of the house to create more of a pavilion feel to the space. The picture is current, but the transaction hasn't taken place yet for her to buy the property. We are honored to help this amazing woman of God.

Esparanza has been homeless most of her life (since 12 years old) and would do whatever she could to survive along with her brother Francisco. Rick & Leslie met her through one of Heart4Cabo's sponsored families who asked if there was any help they could offer Esparanza & Francisco. Rick reached out to us and asked if we would like to build her and her brother a home. They had been given 2 parcels of land, so we sent the funds. We met Esparanza recently (June of 2021) and toured her beautiful home. We also learned that she has started a neighborhood church that she hosts in her yard as a way to say thank you to the Lord for her blessings. She is truly an amazing women of God.
